April 2026 Update
Good day, my dears,
It’s another year, and another exciting time for creations and markets! Last year I learned a lot as it was my first year vending at markets, I started learning more about digital art, and even designed a proper logo with business cards! This year carries over a lot of my previous goals, from vending at markets, to working on Feminine Pride pieces, and working on different pieces for scalemail and chainmail.
NEW LOGO FOR CHUBBY WUBBY DRAGON ART
I am absolutely delighted by my logo for Chubby Wubby Dragon Art. It contains the fun, whimsicalness of my artwork, along with how I center my creations as being apart of, and for, the LGBTQIA+ Community.
Markets:
Last year I vended at over 15 markets where I met some amazing artists and people alike. There was a lot of shifting from my original set up to the new and improved one I’m using now. I still have further plans to update my setup too. This year I plan on focusing on markets I believe my artwork is best suited for, aiming for at most one a month so I can keep working on pieces and spend time with loved ones. One of the hardest parts for me last year was that I didn’t get to spend as much time with loved ones outside of my day job and markets. And so, this year I want to find a better balance.
The first market of 2026 I vended at was The Mystic Moon Faire at the Halifax Forum March 21st and March 22nd. It was a lovely time and I was happy to see everyone again!
I’ve applied to several future markets for later in the year, and will continue to do so. So far I’ve been wait-listed for Hal-Con’s Medieval Market. I applied to Geekorium, which will be at the end of June on the 27th and 28th at Cole Harbour Place. I might not have anything to share yet, but I will have some news about up-coming markets soon enough!
LESBIAN PRIDE KEYCHAINS
Here’s a selection of some of the Lesbian Pride scalemail and chainmail keychains I have available.
These designs are available for each Pride flag and custom colours are always an option.
New Pieces:
I’ve been steadily working on a new Feminine Pride piece - a Sapphic Medusa. Each snake that is apart of her hair is a different species of snake that lives in Greece. I’ve been really enjoying the slow but steady process of this piece as I’ve paired it up with regular video calls with a bestie of mine. They want to be present for when I finish it too.
WIP - SAPPHIC MEDUSA
One of my bigger pieces of 2026 is going to be this Sapphic Medusa digital art painting. Each snake is based off of a different species that lives in Greece.
I can’t wait to see it completed! It’s intended as a gift for a loved one as they adore Greek mythology.
I will be working on my Plant Spirit set of Feminine Pride pieces this year. As well as the clothed set of Jellyfish Feminine Pride pieces I started last year. I’ll have prints and stickers available once they’re completed!
As for new projects for scalemail and chainmail pieces, I have many ideas! One thing I have been designing and creating are chainmail charm bracelets. I’ll have different sets available, with the option to order Custom Colours and charms/pendants. I will have the options of either attaching the charms with a lobster clip, or attaching them with jump rings.
CHAINMAIL CHARM BRACELETS
Here’s a variety of Chainmail Charm Bracelets I have designed. I’ll have several other designs available soon! Some of the charms do come in a variety of colours, such as the jellyfish, manta ray, coloured dino, and shell with pearl.
Fun Fact! The Manta Ray and Seal both glow in the dark!
