Feminine Pride Artwork
Feminine Pride Artwork is created with the intention of providing space for healing and empowerment for those who have survived SA and abuse and the dehumanization of women and non-binary people in society. As a survivor myself, it is incredibly important to create artwork that steps away from the sexual objectification of women and non-binary people and towards the empowerment for the uniqueness that each body holds.
I choose to use nature as my medium for my figures as we traditionally find it easier to see the beauty and uniqueness in nature despite any faults it may have. We celebrate the uniqueness and faults in nature, be it surviving a harsh storm, snaggled growth, or differences between species of animals and plants. Blending nature with figures is my way of bridging the gap between our negative self thoughts about our bodies and the reality that we deserve to see ourselves as beautiful and unique no matter what we have experienced and no matter our faults.
Please note that the name of Feminine Pride Artwork may change. Non-binary people are not women-adjacent, I do not want to add to the incorrect idea that they are.

Feminine Pride Jellyfish
Each one of these Feminine Pride Jellyfish pieces are based off of different species of jellyfish. They demonstrate some of the varieties of bodies we each may have, and connects them to the beauty and uniqueness we associate with nature. As jellyfish flow throughout the ocean, may we flow with the changes our bodies experience over our lifetimes.
